We are proud to be one of the largest tortilla manufacturers in the state of Florida, with sales reaching all over the USA, the Caribbean, and South America. Since 1987, we have been making all kinds of corn and flour tortillas, from the more traditional corn chips, taco shells, and burrito, to the more sophisticated flavored wraps and spicy enchilada. In our 20,000 square-foot facility we have the capacity and know how to manufacture our own tortillas for retail, such as La Guera, as well as tortillas for food service and private labels to Cheyne supermarkets, distributors, and other Tortillerias. Company History…
Guillermo and Patricia Gama, founders of El Mirasol, Inc., began their successful journey in February 1987 with a small bakery store in Plant city, Florida. An instant success, they decided to purchase a small tortilla machine to keep up with the orders. Soon after, they decided to open another facility just for the mass production of corn and flour tortillas and distribution of Mexican food products.
Today, El Marisol is family owned and operated, is a certified minority business enterprise, is a member of the Tortilla Industry Association (T.I.A.), and has certifications from Silliker. As EL Mirasol continues to grow, it has become a positive force in the local community by making substantial contributions to local employment and the economy.
